Each affiliate gets a referral link and their own discount code, created in Shopify Discounts. The code can be applied automatically when a shopper arrives through the link.
Paid orders go to the affiliate whose code was used, otherwise to the referral saved in the cart. Only codes created for your affiliates count, so your other promo codes are never claimed.
Refunded items take back their share of the commission, cancelled orders earn nothing, and a refund after you've paid is deducted from the next payout. Duplicate webhooks are counted once.

Questions merchants ask
Do you take a cut of my affiliate sales?
No. There are no transaction or revenue fees on any plan: the Free plan is free and Pro is a flat monthly price billed by Shopify.
How is an order credited to an affiliate?
When an order is paid, it's credited to the affiliate whose discount code was used at checkout. If no affiliate code was used, it goes to the affiliate whose referral link the shopper arrived through (saved in the cart for the referral window you choose). Codes always win over links, because the shopper chose them.
What happens when an order is refunded or cancelled?
Refunded items take back their share of the commission automatically, pro rata by quantity, and a cancelled order earns nothing. If you had already paid that commission, the difference is deducted from the affiliate's next payout. You can also set any order's commission by hand.
Does the app pay my affiliates?
No, and it never touches money. It tells you who is owed what once the return window has passed; you pay however you like (the Pro plan can export a PayPal payouts file) and mark the payout as paid.
What do affiliates see?
They apply on your store's signup page. Once approved they sign in to their dashboard with a one-time link sent by email, or a link you send them. They see link visits, referred orders, commission, payouts and the pages you'd like them to promote. They can update their PayPal email, and you're told when they do.
Is it privacy-friendly?
Referrals are only remembered when the shopper's cookie choices allow marketing and attribution (you can switch this off). We store no customer names, emails or addresses, and link visits are counted without IP addresses.
Will it slow down my store?
No. The app embed loads one small script (under 2 KB gzipped) with defer, draws nothing on the page, and only makes a request when a shopper arrives through a referral link or their cart needs updating.
